SDI OPEN WATER DIVER
The SDI Open Water scuba diver course is an introductory course that is designed to teach you the fundamentals about diving and dive safety. In this course you will learn how to assemble and care for gear, as well as how to safely conduct open water dives up to 60 ft. Upon completion of this course you will earn your Open Water Scuba diver certification which allows you to dive up to 60 ft anywhere in the world, and you will be able to rent or purchase dive gear. In addition, you will also be qualified to continue your diving education with courses like Advanced Adventure, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Diver, and others. SDI ADVANCED ADVENTURE DIVER
The SDI Advanced Adventure course builds upon the skills you learned in your Open Water scuba diver course. This course is designed to introduce you to new underwater tools and types of diving such as wreck, deep, navigation and buoyancy. During this course you will complete five adventure dives from five different disciplines in order to broaden your diving knowledge and experience. Upon completion of this course you will earn your Advanced Adventure certification which allows you to continue your diving education with courses like Rescue Diver and various specialty courses. SDI RESCUE DIVER
The SDI Rescue Diver course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer the necessary first aid in the event of an emergency. You will learn skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes. After the SDI Rescue Diver Course you can enroll in the SDI Master Scuba Diver Development Program or start in the professional ranks and sign up for the SDI Divemaster Course. SDI Computer NITROX DIVER
The SDI Computer Nitrox Diver course is designed to teach you how to safely extend your bottom time using enriched air, or nitrox as it is referred to in the diving community. This course focuses on what nitrox is, how to analyze the mixture and it's effects on your physiology. It also discusses maximum operating depths and partial pressures of oxygen, as well as procedures for using your dive computer with various nitrox blends. Upon completion of this course you will earn your Computer Nitrox diver certification which will allow you to use nitrox blends up to 40% to extend your bottom time anywhere in the world. SDI ADVANCED DIVER
The SDI Advanced Scuba Diver Development Program was created to make truly “Advanced Divers.” During the course your Instructor will take you through four complete SDI, TDI, or ERDI specialty courses (for example; Deep, Navigation, Photo, Video, Intro to Tech, Tender, etc.) covering all the skills and subjects, so that by the end you will feel comfortable to conduct dives of a similar nature. Once you have logged your 25th dive (these can include any and all training dives), you will be awarded the SDI Advanced Scuba Diver certification. By earning the SDI Advanced Scuba Diver certification you will have increased abilities and comfort in the water and be ready for the next step, SDI Rescue Diver. With every course I teach, I strive to go above and beyond the basic curriculum, in order to reinforce the course fundamentals. This approach produces safer and more competent graduates. I also work to ensure maximum flexibility with your schedule, while choosing top diving operations as industry partners. Pricing includes a base amount that covers the learning materials, certification fees, and instruction. Additional expenses include travel, accommodations, boat fees, rental gear, and required personal gear (this varies depending on course type). I strongly encourage students to combine their training with travel, since I feel it maximizes your diving exposure and ability, while providing an adventure to create lasting memories and interactions.
